Collette's 2010 journey has inspired my new years resolution which is to do one creative thing each day during 2011.
How hard can it be? After all, creativity runs in the family and from an early age I was encouraged to explore my creative urges, and regardless of the outcome, praised for giving it a go. Ultimately, I guess I'm challenging myself to give it a go 365 times over.
I've just had a quick look around the house and gathered up the things I already have on hand to help complete this challenge. Items include watercolour paints, paper tole and scrapbooking equipment, origami paper, a piano stool full of music, pencils, cross stitch, cook books, script writing software...and thats without delving into the depths of the hall cupboard which probably hides more creative goodies.
So, here we go. My first challenge was to create this blog. One down, three hundred and sixty-four creations to go!
